Sir, if words could ever describe my experience of learning German with you then I would have ended up writing a Book. Those 7 years of my Life will always stay the most precious ones to me. I wouldn’t say that I was just learning a language rather I would say I was making the best memories while learning German with you. Memories that I am going to cherish all my Life. Sir, as I have already said you’re not just a Teacher to me, but when needed you spoke to me like a friend, at times you advised me like a Mentor, and while taking the biggest decision of my Life of studying in Germany you supported me like a figure of Father. So, definitely no words can ever define my experience but I hope just like me you can still remember the little Manpreet who entered your class in 6th Standard, and the transformation into the grown up one while leaving for Germany.̥

Sir, your German classes were always my favourite part of the day, always something I looked forward to. Even after getting a full German scholarship for my Bachelors, I always look back to our first classes with you and how far I’ve come from where I used to be all under your guidance. Your teaching gave me a purpose to aim for and the passion to follow it diligently. You not only possess extraordinary dedication and love for your subject but also pass it on to each and every one of your students. You made it seem like a fun activity rather than a subject. Many people may be able to teach languages but only your students know what excellence means and how much passion is needed. I would never have known what true achievement feels like without you. Your talent and diligence are contagious. I can’t possibly emphasise enough on what a huge loss it’s going to be for Carmel when you leave. You’ve changed lives here in Carmel and I’m sure you’ll continue to do so wherever you go. I’ve never known a better teacher. With huge respect and best wishes for the future.

It is hard to find someone so dedicated to their subject. Your passion for German is infectious and caught onto everyone you taught. You remain one of the best teachers who taught me and I always looked forward to German class. I am sure I would have again taken up some classes with you if I was still in Delhi. Feel lucky to have been taught by a person like you Sir. Here’s to learning from you again someday. ( And interestingly Nimisha from Mumbai could restart German at B1 level again after a gap of 16 long years, thanks to Internet & technology)

Sir you made me fall in love with the language, and continuing your legacy, I made plenty of other kids fall in love with it too. Whenever I communicate in German, I first play it in my head as to how would you have pronounced or built that sentence. There is no word or phrase which I can use to express my gratitude. There has been no class wherein I have focussed all 30 mins or even looked forward to attending the same. Thank you so much for making a subject / language an experience.

Thank you so much for teaching us a foreign language like German! It was definitely a brilliant experience. Throughout my time in Dublin, I’ve met many German people and it’s great to be able to speak their language! Even though we might still mess up the grammar but we will never forget the language, thanks to all your efforts! Danke Schön Lehrer, Sie sind am besten!

Sir, you not only taught us another language, but you also taught us about a new culture. I wasn’t really good at German but you always motivated me to work hard. You have always inspired me and Monica Nayyar to achieve our goals. Thank you for always encouraging us.

Sir, your teachings not only helped me learn a new language, which in turn opened several new avenues, but the passion with which you used to teach us, by putting all your heart into it, made me realise how we can enjoy the work that we do if we pursue it with such dedication. We were blessed to have you as our teacher, vielen Dank für alles!

You still remain as my favourite teacher to date. Learning German felt like a piece of cake thanks to your phenomenal teaching skills. Sadly I lost touch with the language but I have recently started to revise and relearn the language (I still have your worksheets!) because I would never forget such an important skill. Thank you for instilling a sense of interest and passion for languages and culture. Vielen Dank! ❤️

German class was something that I always looked forward to. Not only did we learn the basics of a new language but also wondered as a teenager what visiting Germany would be like. Really appreciate your enthusiasm and dedication for teaching. Thank you for making German fun for us. Any student you taught would agree that you remain one of their most respected teachers.

Sir, there is probably no one out there who understands every student’s strengths and weaknesses as carefully as you are able to. No one felt out of place in your classroom and you made a completely foreign language seem like our own, something so familiar and common. It was nothing but an absolute honour to be taught by you.A rare combination indeed!

I used to tell people for a long time “But German is such an easy language!”. But when I started to think about it, I realised that it was so “easy” for all of us to grasp because of how well you broke down concepts for us. You really helped me and many others develop a proclivity for languages sir, thanks for all of it!

Thank you for being a wonderful teacher, couldn’t have asked for a more helpful and dedicated mentor. There’s no one who could have taught complicated German articles this well. You’ve been really a great support throughout. I will be continuing the language this Winter, and its 100% because of you. ☺️ Ich hoffe, Sie sind immer bei guter Gesundheit!
